Location:

This project site starts at Murdunna and extends northwards towards Dunalley for approx 3kms.

Impact:

The design will provide a more consistent road standard, removing sharp corners and providing sealed road shoulders.

Construction works are planned for the 2013/2014 summer season which provides the best result for road surfacing work.  This also coincides with peak tourist season.  Local tourist operators will be kept informed or the project and potential impacts.  Any works will be undertaken in accordance with an approved traffic managment plan with key delays kept to a minimum.  It is envisaged that one lane of traffic will be kept open at all times.

Current Status:

This project is currently in planning and design phase with construction programmed for the 2013/2014 year.
