Detailed planning is under way on a proposal to upgrade Rokeby Main Road to four lanes between Oceana Drive and Diosma Street. A public display will be held soon to enable the community to comment on the preferred concept design.

The proposal represents a continuation of the four-lane highway already completed between Shoreline Drive and Oceana Drive.

Work on the project will proceed in two stages, with Stage 1 addressing the priority issue of upgrading the Pass Road/Rokeby Main Road junction and providing a connection for Tollard Drive.

Planning for the Oceana Drive to Diosma Street section is expected to be completed by July this year.
