To confirm Evidence of Identity for a person
a minimum of three original and current documents (no photocopies or certified copies) must be provided.
EITHER one document from Category A plus two documents from Category B
OR
two documents from Category A plus one document from Category B
(at least one document must show the persons Date of Birth). If one of the provided documents does not show the current Tasmanian residential address, a fourth document from the Evidence of Residential Address category is also required. |

- Australian Passport
- Department of Immigration & Citizenship - travel documents, including a visa
- Department of Immigration & Citizenship - Certificate of Residence status

- Driver Licence (can be expired up to 2 years)
- Tasmanian Government Personal Information Card (displaying full name)

- Births, Deaths & Marriages Change of Name Registration / Marriage Certificate (not a church or celebrant document) or Deed Poll.

To Confirm Evidence of Identity for a body corporate (a company or an incorporated association) at least one document must be provided from the Incorporation Registration Documents category below. Additional documents may also be required to demonstrate the current Premises Address, Garage Address or a Change of Name of the body corporate. |
