Minimum Age 17 years
Bring 1. Your completed L2 Learner Driver Logbook, (PDF) with 50 hours of supervised driving recorded
2. Your current L2 learner licence
3. A registered, suitable car
4. Evidence of Identity - to prove who you are
If you fail

You have to wait at least 28 days to re-sit the assessment and you must pay another assessment fee

If you cancel the test If you don't give at least 2 business days notice or provide a medical certificate, then you have to wait at least 28 days before sitting the assessment and you'll have to pay another assessment fee

 

Speed is a major cause of road crashes. Drive within the speed limit at all times. Between 2003 and 2007 speed was a crash factor in 14% of all fatal crashes among novice drivers.

Remember

Passing this assessment allows you to drive solo - that's a big responsibility, so make sure you're prepared.  The best way to prepare is to get LOTS of supervised practice before you take the assessment (the more the better!)
