Hold your learner licence for 6 months

This is the bare minimum you have to do in the learner stage. But your learner licence lasts for 12 months, so there's no need to rush things
The longer you stay in the learner stage practicing your riding, the better your chances of passing the Pre-Provisional Motorcycle Training Course and being a safer driver on the road

Between 2003 and 2007 alcohol was a factor in 1 in 10 fatal crashes among novice drivers.
