Offence Free Rewards
39. What is the Offence Free Reward
A person who is first issued with a P1 licence in Tasmania after 25 August 2008 and progresses through the P1 & P2 licence stages to a full licence in Tasmania without being convicted of a demerit point offence or have had a period of disqualification, licence cancellation or suspension, or period of ineligibility may apply for a refund of the P1 and P2 licence fees they paid.
A person will be eligible for a refund only once in their driving/riding career therefore a person who progresses through separate P1 and P2 stages for a car and motorcycle may only receive the reward once.
40. How do I apply for the Offence Free Reward?
You must hold your full licence for a period of 6 months and then apply to the Registrar on the approved form as below. The refund will take approximately 3 weeks to reach you.
