Speed measuring device test certificates
Access test certificates for radar and laser speed analysers and photographic detection devices.
In accordance with Regulations 10 and 11 of the Vehicle and Traffic (Offence Detection Devices) Regulations 2023), the Transport Commission has approved the following test certificates for use in Tasmania. In any proceedings, the following certificate(s) are evidence and, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, proof of the matters set out in the certificate(s).
- Form 1 – Test Certificate – Laser Speed Analyser
- Form 1A - Test Certificate - Laser Speed Analyser
- Form 2 - Test Certificates - Radar Speed Analyser
- Form 2A - Test Certificates - Radar Speed Analyser
- Form 3 - Test Certificate - Photographic Detection Device (Fixed Speed Camera)
- Form 4 – Test Certificate – Install/Operate Speed Measuring Photographic Detection Device
- Form 5 – Test Certificate – Install/Operate Driver Behaviour Photographic Detection Device
The following Test Certificates have been replaced by the relevant Test Certificate above. The below Test Certificates may be used for system testing occurring prior to 9 August 2023:
