Getting to P1 licence

Acquire at least 50 supervised hours over 9 months

This is the bare minimum you have to do in the learner stage. But your learner licence lasts for 3 years, so there's no need to rush things

The longer you stay in the learner stage practicing your driving, the better your chances of passing the practical P1 driving assessment, and the safer you'll be as a solo driver - you'll be less likely to have a crash that results in you being seriously injured or killed

Check out some tips in A Guide to your Driving Assessements.
