Students who do not travel on a bus service that offers electronic ticketing, can access the discounted child student fare by purchasing a 10-ride ticket from their bus operator.
A 10-ride ticket will:
- cost a maximum of $14.40 for 10 tickets; and
- enables the student to travel 10 trips on the bus
Contact your bus service operator for more information.
If you still have some 10-ride tickets left from 2019, you will be able to use these to travel on the bus in 2020, as long as you will be:
- under 18, or turning 18 in 2020; and
- a full time student (600+ hours per year) enrolled at an education facility recognised by the Department of Education.
If you have any questions relating to Student bus fares, you can find further information within the Frequently Asked Questions.
