Lyell Highway – South of Tarraleah
We are rebuilding the road surface on the Lyell Highway, South of Tarraleah.
The project is located on the Lyell Highway in the Central Highlands of Tasmania. The Lyell Highway runs from Hobart to Queenstown and is the main transport route to the West Coast of Tasmania.
We will start work on Monday 8 November 2021 and should be finished in late March 2022, weather permitting.
We will be working on weekdays, between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. We will let you know if we have to work outside these times.
There will be a reduced speed limit and single lane closures during our working hours.
There will be some delays of up to 15 minutes during our work.
Road users should plan ahead and allow for up to 15 minutes extra travel time during this work.
Please follow the directions of traffic controllers and signs.
