Temporary upgrade permit

What other the conditions for a temporary upgrade permit?

A temporary upgrade permit:

• Can be obtained for up to 90 days;
  • this is a set period of time you can use the permit for
  • you are unable to pick and choose 90 days of using the permit.
• Can only be used while the vehicle remains registered.

How do I apply?

1. Complete a Temporary upgrade permit for Heavy Vehicles (PDF 412.9 KB) form (MR97).
2. Submit it at Service Tasmania.
3. Pay the fee.
