Crown Landowner Consent
Where proposed developments require the use of Crown land you are required, under Section 52(1B) of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993, to include with the planning permit to Council the consent of the Minister responsible for the administration of the Crown land.
If the development requires the use of Crown land managed by the Minister for Infrastructure an application for Crown Landowner Consent must be completed and submitted to the Department of State Growth. This must be submitted a minimum of twenty eight (28) days prior to making application to Council in order to allow sufficient time for the application to be assessed.
