Blythe River Bridge

The Department of State Growth is strengthening the Blythe River Bridge on the Bass Highway at Heybridge.

This work is being done to the westbound span of the bridge (closest to Heybridge) and will make the bridge safer and increase capacity for heavy vehicles.

Work will start in February/March 2020 and be completed by July 2020, weather permitting.

Changed traffic conditions and speed restrictions will be in place during the works, to keep workers and road users safe. Please follow all signs and allow enough time for travelling through the work area.
