Waterhouse Road Sealing

The Department of State Growth is sealing Waterhouse Road to make it safer, providing a consistent, all-weather road environment.

About the project

Stage two

We will resurface Waterhouse Road for 10.5 km, from Boobyalla to the existing sealed section of road east of Gladstone.

Works will start Monday 21 October and be completed by the end of February 2020, weather permitting.

We will be working from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. There may be some changes to traffic conditions to keep our workers and all road users safe.

On Tuesday 10 December there will be up to 30 minute delays between 7:00 am- 5:00 pm to connect resurfacing with Hardwicks Bridge.

Please slow down, and follow the directions of traffic controllers and signs.
