Many pedestrian crossings in the Hobart CBD and Launceston CBD are automatic between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.
The installation of the trial crossing lights will replace the flashing red person that means ‘don’t start to cross’, and will help pedestrians make more informed crossing decisions.

Tourism signs are designed to direct visitors to features and facilities of interest. If you own or operate a commercial tourism business or natural, cultural or heritage features/attractions you may apply for approval to erect tourism signs on State roads.
