About the project

This project involves changing the junction to a conventional T-junction, incorporating a basic right turn facility from Chapel Road onto Frankford Main Road.

These upgrades will improve safety and reduce the risk of crashes.

We connected with members of the local community with land nearby to consult with them on the design for the new junction.

Timing

Construction will start on Tuesday, 11 February 2025 and is expected to be completed by late May 2025.

Road users can expect some temporary traffic changes during the Harford junction upgrades including reduced speed limits and occasional lane closures during the 7:00 am to 6:00 pm working hours.

Please allow 15 minutes extra travel time and to follow the directions of traffic controllers and signs.
