All traffic now using new Cam River Bridge
All traffic has now been switched to the new Cam River Bridge at Somerset.
Eastbound traffic (heading to Burnie) moved onto the new bridge on Monday, 12 February 2024, , after westbound traffic was switched on 25 January.
Demolition will start soon on the old bridge, and we will begin landscaping the surrounding area.
We will do some further work and testing on the new traffic signals at the Murchison Highway, which are expected to become operational in April.
