Service Tasmania and Transport Services will be closed from 25 December 2025 and reopen Friday 2 January 2026.
- Online Transport Services will continue to be available. This includes the Tas Rego Check, registration disposals, registration transfers and registration renewal options.
- If you have an account, you can also renew registration online through the myServiceTas portal.
- If you are unable to renew your vehicle registration by the online options available, please visit an Australia Post outlet with a copy of your registration renewal.
- Registration renewal payments can take up to 2 business days to clear. If you have made a registration renewal payment and your vehicle is showing as unregistered, please keep a copy of the registration renewal payment receipt with you when driving the vehicle.
