Replacing your licence
Has your licence been lost, damaged or stolen? Find out how to get a replacement licence.
1. How do I replace my licence?
To replace your licence, you’ll need to visit Service Tasmania.
You’ll need to:
- Provide full Evidence of Identity (including a document that shows your signature)
- Fill in an application form
- Place a replacement licence fee.
2. How do I replace my licence if I’m not in Tasmania?
To replace your licence when you’re not in Tasmania, you’ll need to fill in an Out of State Drivers Licence Renewal or Application form.
Please note - you can only do this once, and there are specific requirements for renewing if you are not in Tasmania.
