In the 2018-2019 financial year:

  • $207 million was spent on road construction or upgrades.
  • $78 million was spent on road maintenance.
  • 1 280 bridges across the state were maintained.
  • 795 kilometres of line marking road carriageways was carried out.
  • 591 electronic school speed signs were maintained.
  • 306 signalised intersections were managed.
  • 160 kilometres of road carriageways were resurfaced.
  • 227 intelligent transport system sites were managed, including traffic monitoring technology, electronic warning signs and weather stations.
