Maclaines Creek Bridge upgrade
Find out more about the reporting and planning that was undertaken to manage the impact on threatened flora species during the Maclaines Creek Bridge upgrade.
Management of the threatened flora species, Lepidium hyssopifolium, was a critical part of the Maclaines Creek Bridge upgrade project.
Detailed surveys were done before the project started to establish the size and distribution of the population.
Works were subject to EPBC Act conditions. The conditions included the establishment and maintenance of a Lepidium hyssopifolium offset area and periodic monitoring and reporting.
We now have a Soft Peppercress Protection Plan (Lepidium hyssopifolium) and periodically manage and monitor sites across the State road network.
