About the project
From 2013 to 2015 we upgraded Rokeby Main Road between Morning and Diosma Street.
Stage 1 involved improving the road curve on Rokeby Hill, constructing four lanes with a median barrier from Diosma Street to east of Buckingham Drive and a new signalised intersection at Pass Road.
Stage 2 involved converting the remaining section of highway to four lanes and the provision of new access arrangements for Howrah Gardens residents and businesses.
You can download Annual Reports required until 2033 for the Australian Government permit to manage and mitigate any environmental impacts from this project.
These reports include information about the continued management of an Offset Site at Bagdad set up to compensate for unavoidable impacts on gum trees at the road upgrade site in Rokeby.
