Takata airbag recall
There has been a national recall of faulty Takata airbags.
The recall affects a large number of car makes and models, and a small number of motorcycles.
Before purchasing any vehicle, ensure that the Takata airbag does not need replacing. To undertake a Takata airbag check obtain the vehicles VIN/chassis number and check the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website recalls list.
