The Guide contains information regarding authority, training requirements, and transition arrangements relating to the Austroads Safer Outcomes at Road Worksites project.

For the purposes of s59 of the Traffic Act 1925, the Guide constitutes the Transport Commission's directions for the installation of traffic signs at work sites on Tasmanian roads.
