About the project

We are repairing and strengthening Argent River Bridge on the Murchison Highway, west of Renison Bell.

Timing

We started work in November 2025 following delays due to severe weather.

We will be working between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

The speed limit will be reduced to 60 km/h through the worksite until the project is completed. For short periods of the project, we will also need to lower the speed limit to 40 km/h through the worksite, and 20 km/h over the bridge itself. This is to allow the epoxy we place on the bridge to cure with minimal disturbance and vibration.

There will also be occasional lane closures through the worksite while we complete the work.

We expect the work to be completed by April 2026.
