About the project
We are designing upgrades for the junction of the Bass Highway and Speedway Drive, Latrobe.
This project is in response to a history of crashes and reports of near misses.
This project will improve road safety by investigating both short-term and long-term upgrades for traffic turning in and out of the Bass Highway.
We will engage directly impacted stakeholders during the design phase of the project.
Timing
There will be some site investigations to help us inform the final design. We will let the community know if there are any temporary changes to traffic management.
Once the design is finalised, we expect to start construction in 2027.
