About the project
This project will include the following upgrades:
- changing the current road junction to improve the road slope and alignment
- introducing a right turn lane from Pipers River Road into Waddles Road
- widening the road to allow through vehicles to pass a vehicle turning right from Pipers River Road into Waddles Road
- improving sight lines for vehicles exiting Waddles Road and entering Pipers River Road.
We connected with members of the local community with land nearby to consult with them on the design for the new junction.
Timing
Construction will start on Tuesday, 11 March 2025 and will be completed by Tuesday, 13 May 2025, weather permitting.
Road users can expect some temporary traffic changes during these works, including a reduced speed limit and occasional lane closures between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Please allow 15 minutes extra travel time and follow the directions of traffic controllers and signs.
