Statewide concrete bridge repairs

Twelve bridges around the state will undergo repair work from early March 2024 to mid-June 2024.

Repair work at each bridge will take up to two weeks.

The sites will be repaired in the following order:

• Glen Huon Main Road Culvert, Glen Huon
• Flights Creek Bridge, Kettering
• Tasman Highway Culvert, Buckland
• Mud Walls Secondary Road, Campania
• Mud Walls Secondary Road, Colebrook
• Tasman Highway Culverts (three culverts), north of Bicheno
• Stonyford Creek Culvert, Chain of Lagoons
• Tasman Highway Culvert, Chain of Lagoons
• Golden Fleece Bridge, St Helens
• Henry Street Bridge, Ravenswood

During construction, there may be changed traffic conditions in place to ensure the safety of workers and road users.

Please take extra care when changed traffic conditions are in place and follow the directions of signs and traffic controllers.

Timing

We are starting work in early March 2024 and expect to complete all bridge repairs by mid-June 2024.

Repair work at each bridge site will take up to two weeks.

We will be working between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. If we need to work outside these hours, we will let the community know in advance.
