About the project
We are planning safety improvements at the Huon Highway and Leslie Road intersection.
The Huon Highway and Leslie Road intersection was identified as a priority location for safety improvements as part of the Huon Highway Corridor Strategy, released in November 2023.
This work is part of a suite of projects under the Huon Highway Corridor Strategy which includes a list of potential improvements.
Funding has been prioritised to the projects with the greatest needs, based on criteria like traffic volumes, road safety, vehicle types and economic and residential growth.
