About the project
We will be strengthening and repairing Lake Leake Road in Campbell Town.
Timing
This project will go from Monday, 16 February 2026 to Friday, 30 April 2026, weather permitting.
We will be working between 7:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays as required.
Please allow about 10 minutes extra travel time during this work.

About the Freight Capacity Upgrade Program
FCUP supports the productivity of freight vehicles by improving the roads and bridges they travel on day to day. Repairing and strengthening these sections of road will:
- improve freight productivity
- improve efficiency and network reliability
- improve road safety for all road users
- reduce maintenance costs.
Funding
The Australian and Tasmanian Governments have committed combined funding of $100 million towards the FCUP program.
