Have your say on two key Eastern Shore projects
We are improving travel choices and safety for the eastern shore community.
We are improving travel choices and safety for the eastern shore community.
We are inviting community feedback on the designs for the South Arm Highway Upgrade and the new Rokeby Park and Ride facility.
These two projects will improve travel choices for commuters and road user safety for the eastern shore community.
Members of the public can provide feedback on each of the designs from Monday, 13 October 2025 to Monday, 10 November 2025.
Feedback gained during the consultation period will help inform future detailed designs for the upgrades.
Designs to upgrade the South Arm Highway to two lanes in each direction, between Pass Road, Rokeby and Oakdowns have been released. Members of the public are invited to share their feedback on this important stage of our South Arm Highway upgrades.
Members of the public can provide feedback on the design online here: https://www.transport.tas.gov.au/roadworks/current_projects/south_road_projects/south_arm_highway_upgrade
Community feedback is also being sought on the design of the new Rokeby Park and Ride facility at the corner of South Arm Highway and Tollard Drive, Rokeby. The facility will provide car and motorcycle parking, secure bicycle storage, and all-weather bus shelters, making it easier for commuters to connect to Hobart by bus.
