South Arm Road repairing and strengthening works
We have repaired and strengthened South Arm Road south of Sandford, between School Road and Cremorne Avenue.
These works are being completed as part of the Tasmanian Government’s Freight Capacity Upgrade Program, jointly funded by the Australian and Tasmanian governments.
About the Freight Capacity Upgrade Program
These works were completed as part of FCUP, jointly funded by the Australian and Tasmanian governments.
FCUP supports the productivity of freight vehicles by improving the roads and bridges they travel on day to day. Repairing and strengthening these sections of road will:
- improve freight productivity
- improve efficiency and network reliability
- improve road safety for all road users
- reduce maintenance costs.
