West Tamar Highway Bus Stop
We are building a new, safer school bus stop outside 469 West Tamar Highway in Riverside.
The new bus stop includes a kerbside pedestrian island, safety fence, and a safe waiting area for students waiting for north bound buses.
The project was created to:
- improve bus operations and traffic flow to address road safety related issues
- provide a safer waiting area for students using north bound buses
- create room for pedestrians to walk past the bus stop on the footpath and bike riders to pass the bus stop without having to enter traffic.
