View the NAAS Powered by HVAMS
The NAAS Powered by HVAMS Class 2 networks shows roads mapped in three categories: Approved (green), Conditionally Approved (orange or with a pink highlight) and Restricted (red). Click on a route or bridge to show any conditions that apply.
The network shows roads which can be accessed by eligible PBS Level 2B or 3A, A- Doubles B-Doubles greater than 26m but not exceeding 36.5m in length operating under the Tasmania Class 2 Performance Based Standards Authorisation Notice 2025 (No.1) .
All restricted structures (red dots) and conditions applied by the HVAMS 3/ NAAS must be complied with, noting that mass restrictions on bridges may be removed if you reduce the mass of the configuration by either using the slider tool or changing the vehicle mass parameters. The User Guide provides information in relation to this.
Roads not shown as approved (green) require road manager approval for access by permit. Application for access by permit is to be made through the NHVR.
Operators must check for road closures and road conditions prior to travel to ensure clear passage. For roads managed by the Department of State Growth, this information is available on the Department of State Growth website and by selecting the “show state growth road works” button on this map.
