Rubbish collection
We regularly inspect every road on the State road network for any problems that need to be fixed. These inspections help us spot litter quickly, and remove it from the roadside.
On our busier roads we have regular rubbish collections. During these our contractor will pick up any litter and debris that can be seen from a standard four wheel drive anywhere on the road. We also do extra collections when they are needed, for example if someone calls and reports litter on the side of the road.
On our quieter roads, we do litter collections when they are needed. Usually this is after litter is spotted during the regular road inspections.
