Maintaining the roads

As part of our work to look after over 3,700 kilometres of State roads, we regularly inspect the road and program any repairs required, respond to emergencies (24 hours per day/7 days per week), collect rubbish, remove roadkill, trim and mow roadside vegetation.

We do this to keep road users safe, make sure the State road network is working efficiently, reduce the threat of invasive weeds and preserve the natural beauty of our state.
