Low Head and George Town to Launceston

There are minor changes coming to George Town bus services from Monday, 29 January 2024.

The Tasmanian Government is funding new bus stops at new locations in George Town, which will be completed in early 2024.

The new stops will be more accessible and comfortable: opposite 22 Anne St will have a shelter and be closer to toilets, while 48 Goulburn St will be a safer distance from the Fire Station.

To utilise the new stops, we are slightly changing bus routes to access them, and closing stops at 21 Elizabeth St and 52 Goulburn St.

This change will affect Kinetic public and school bus services, but not Buses R Us school bus services.
