Legana

  • There are significantly more services.
    • Services operate hourly, seven days a week.
    • There are new Sunday services.
  • Two routes now service Legana – route 780 and 782.
    • Route 780 is a more direct route which saves travel time for most passengers. It does not travel via Nobelius Drive.
    • Route 782 travels via Nobelius Drive, five times a day. Services operate during the morning and afternoon peak times with some day-time services for shoppers.

Riverside

  • There are significantly more services.
    • Services operate hourly, seven days a week.
    • There are new Sunday services.
  • The majority of Riverside services are operated by Manions Coaches.
    • Manions operate services along the Riverside corridor (along the West Tamar Highway).
    • Metro still operate Trevallyn services and most urban school services along the Riverside corridor.
    • Metro no longer operate through Riverside, except for route 151 which is a day-time shopping service which links Trevallyn to Riverside shops and Cormiston Road.
  • Riverside services travel along the full length of the West Tamar Highway. No services deviate via Forest Road.
  • Some bus stops along the Riverside corridor will change.
    • Some stops will be upgraded with new signage and to ensure they are accessible.
    • Some stops will be relocated for safety and accessibility reasons.
  • Riverside services start and finish at the Launceston interchange.
    • The stop is D2 on Brisbane Street, near Target.
    • Services no longer stop at York Street.
