Service alert: Zeehan Highway update - The Department is continuing the clean up of a landslip that occurred on the Zeehan Highway north of Yolande River, in September 2021. The essential work, which includes removing the remaining debris from the road, will take place between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on Wednesday, 8 December 2021 and, weather permitting, is expecting to be completed in one day.

The Zeehan Highway between the Anthony Road and Lyell Highway junctions will be closed to all through traffic for these works. After the completion of this work and a geotechnical inspection, it is hoped that the Highway will be able to fully open and function normally.

Public transport passengers are encouraged to check the Tassielink website for updates and information, on possible changes to routes and timetables, prior to travel.
