The VRUP aims to improve road safety outcomes in Tasmania by:
- Reducing the number of crashes that occur between vulnerable road users and vehicles in our urban areas.
- Reducing the severity (level of injury) when a crash does occur.
If you are a community member and have identified an urban road safety issue that you think would suit the VRUP, please contact your local government to share your suggestions. You can find contact information for your local government at Find your local council - LGA Tasmania.
