South of Tunbridge Stages 1 and 2

Stage 1 of this project improved road safety by easing a curve south of Tunbridge, providing a wide central median, and lane separation with a flexible safety barrier.

Stage 1 works started in December 2014 and were completed in November 2015.

Stage 2 of this project included the provision of an additional south-bound overtaking lane, installation of central and roadside flexible safety barriers, two light vehicle turning bays, and curve improvements.

Stage 2 works started in April 2015 and were completed in April 2016.
